Kyle entered the cabinet he's been building in SUU's Technology Fair. He won 3rd place!
The horns are from the first deer he shot. He is in the process of building the top half, it is a gun cabinet. His room is getting a little crowded. He has built a full size log bed frame, cedar chest, night stand, dresser and now this cabinet. This man has definitely get talent!

Iron County Republican Delegate Convention

Erick decided to put his hat in the race hoping to change a bunch of issues that our current commissioners have really shoved down our throats. Erick only lacked a few votes to continue to the primary elections, but he and another did force out the incumbent running for re election. And that was very important.

Kasey and Shawn were delegates in their precinct.
We all learned a great deal about the government process in elections and where our votes count the most. So keep voting, but if you really want to make a difference and help choose the people that can even run become a delegate!
Everyone helped and supported Erick each step of the way and we appriciate and love you all!!

Fresh Milk!

Our neighbor Robert Cox had been milking a cow while the owners were gone for Easter and shared with us.
Kurtis Loved it!! This is only significant because normally he would rather not drink milk at all.
We also got fresh cream to whip for our strawberries. Yummy!

We headed south for the WARM

We have had so much snow and cold weather that we decided to head south and play outside Shawn and Kasey chasing frisbee's and footballs

Eagle Recognition Banquet

The Elks Lodge and the Lions Club put together a Eagle Scout Recognition banquet for all the boys who have earned their Eagle this last year.

WOOD REUNION!!!!

The Wood Reunion will be at Otter Creek this year Sept. 4Th through the 6Th the theme is Redneck Yacht Club. There will be lots of games and activities. We will be at the group site next to the lake, it is tents only unless you get a spot for your trailer. This is just a reminder, there will be meal plans sent out for each family so start getting ready it will be a blast.!

Yesterday we were looking at the radishes, peas and spinach coming up in my garden. I guess at least they are getting water. Otherwise Aurgh!!!!
